A companion series about the most interesting character in the Caraval series？ YES PLEASE。 Even though the world building wasn't as dazzling as Caraval， it was still so much fun to be back and revisit some of the old characters from Garber's first series。 I think it was an interesting route the author chose to have a new set of magic introduced on top of everything else in this world but I'm invested and curious to see how it will play out in the next book。 As usual， I absolutely loved Jacks and A companion series about the most interesting character in the Caraval series？ YES PLEASE。 Even though the world building wasn't as dazzling as Caraval， it was still so much fun to be back and revisit some of the old characters from Garber's first series。 I think it was an interesting route the author chose to have a new set of magic introduced on top of everything else in this world but I'm invested and curious to see how it will play out in the next book。 As usual， I absolutely loved Jacks and hope he'll get his happily every after。。。but only after Evangeline gives him hell first 😏 。。。more

I’m afraid to write a proper review for this cuz it might turn into a rant。 I think overall this is a good read。 I enjoyed it for the most part but it’s quite predictable and dragging at the end。 If you love the Craval series then you should read this！
